Annual plans, for more than the occasional scheme
If you assess several schemes a year, an annual plan brings the cost of each assessment down. Pay as you go stays exactly as above — no commitment, one scheme at a time. Plans are billed annually by Direct Debit.

Billed annually by Direct Debit — one authorisation sets up the Direct Debit and takes the first year’s payment, and we remind you before renewal. Prices exclude VAT.

Independent Design Review Panel Assessments are carried out by The Design Review Panel. Book online from a finalised self-assessment — every booking is confirmed by us within 3 working days before any reviewer is approached. Prefer to talk first? Make an enquiry instead; an enquiry places no order and takes no payment.
Independent Design Review Panel Assessment — £4,750 + VAT
A desk-based review by The Design Review Panel of your completed self-assessment and the material submitted with it, concluding in the Panel’s own Design Review Panel Certificate.
Premium Independent Design Review Panel Assessment — £6,950 + VAT
The desk-based review extended with a site visit and a Panel discussion with your design team, concluding in the Panel’s own Design Review Panel Certificate.
The detail, when you want it
When payment is taken, and what finalising locks
Payment is taken at the point you choose to finalise. Before that, nothing is charged and nothing is committed. Once finalised, the assessment is locked and the outcome fixed — see the FAQ on amendments.
Your certificate is issued immediately. There is no queue and no turnaround — you finalise, and the documents arrive.
Panel turnaround, and expedited feedback
The Panel aims to issue its certificate 14 working days after the latest of our confirming the booking, receiving cleared payment and receiving the information for review; for the Premium service the 14 working days run from the date of the Panel session.
Where a submission deadline will not wait, either Panel assessment can be expedited for an additional £975 + VAT, bringing the Panel’s certificate to 7 working days after the same trigger rather than fourteen. Subject to Panel availability, and confirmed — or declined, with that part of your payment cancelled or refunded — as part of our confirmation of your booking.
If your scheme changes
Schemes change, and an assessment describes a scheme at a point in time. If you materially revise a scheme after assessing it, you can carry out a further self-assessment of the revised scheme at no charge, and return for a further Panel assessment at around 30% less than the original fee:

This is open to anyone who materially revises a scheme, whatever the outcome of the first assessment.
